Wild West Show Coloring Contest

June 17, 1931.  "Here is an Indian chief from the 101 Ranch show, in his feathers and war paint."  Winners of this coloring contest received tickets to the 101 Ranch Wild West Show.

DIANA DANE Paper Doll

1931.  Here is a pretty paper doll of comic strip heroine "DIANA DANE".

Make This SPOOL CAT

July 26, 1931.  "Make This Spool Cat.  Cut out pussy's head and tail upon the dotted lines.  Next mount these upon thin cardboard or rather heavy paper.  Color pussy as you think best.  Now glue the head and tail to the ends of a small-sized spool as shown in the little illustration so that the cat can stand.  You can make many more such animals with the aid of ordinary spools and can collect quite a zoo full!"  A very cute idea submitted by S. Here's Sally's Vacation Outfit

July 12, 1931.  "Here is Sally and her wardrobe for the girls to color.  Sally is all fitted out for a vacation at the seashore, for she has a sailor dress, a bathing cap, a swimming suit, and lounging and beach pajamas.  Color them well, and perhaps you can add to Sally's clothes many more handsome ones.  HOPE NELSON, Salt Lake City."  SALLY, a newspaper paper doll by Hope Nelson, a member of S.
