March 24, 1901. Picture Frame To Color. "The figure shown is that of a Chinese general. The bamboo frame paint a straw color. The dragon paint green with a red head and a yellow tail. The spear should be black, with a light blue blade. A yellow suit for the Chinese general, with a gold breastplate. The other trimmings treat in gold and red. The background may be left white, or given an uniform pale tint. Cut out the oval, in which a photograph can be inserted, and mount the finished frame on heavy cardboard. The picture frame, with your own photograph inserted, would make an acceptable gift." Those are the instructions included on the page which you can follow or use your own creativity to finish the frame.
July 11, 1993. The Seven Dwarfs and Me! Historical Landmarks Cut-Outs - THE OLD STATE HOUSE, BOSTON
October 20, 1901. Historical Landmarks cut-out series featured some wonderful old buildings. I can image children and their parents back in 1901 cutting out this model from the Sunday newspaper and spending the day putting it together. Does the Old Boston State House have a unicorn statue? It looks like a unicorn.

CATS Just Wanna Have Fun - The Jolly Birds!
September 24, 1922. BILLY AND KITTY KAT SPEND A DAY AT THE SEASHORE. Billy Kat seems to be very proud about something - wonder if he really went in bathing. Do you like his boardwalk suit? Kitty Kat's afraid the big wave will wet her new bathing suit. Kitty wears a big hat to keep from getting freckles. She thinks her best dress is darling. These paper dolls are very cute after coloring.
