I don't like to use my blog to talk politics but I do have something I have to say.  If you have followed my blogs, Mostly Paper Dolls and Mostly Paper Dolls Too, then you would probably know that I am a conservative Republican.  I am so tired of nasty celebrities and nasty liberals, especially women, calling decent people like me all kinds of horrible names.  Talk about a bunch of bullies.  I never voted for Bill or Barack  but when they were elected I accepted each as president and prayed for them and for the Country I love.  These people need to quit acting like spoiled children.  GOD Bless America and GOD Bless President Trump.

October 20, 1923.  "GETTING READY FOR THE PARTY.  Paste all of these patterns on heavy paper, color them and cut them out.  Make the Tea Cart first, because that is the hardest.  Fold on all the dotted lines and paste the parts that lap.  You will find that your little Tea Cart has a top and a lower shelf, two legs, two wheels and two handles with which it is to be pushed from the kitchen to the dining room or the sun parlor.  Make the dishes stand by folding the bottoms up and inside.  Peggy Paper's arms are to be slipped through the slits cut just below the shoulders."

October 27, 1923.  "See Dilly Dear and Danny Dove; The children you are sure to love.  They never run away from school; They never break a single rule.  They wouldn't whisper, me-oh my!  They don't know how to tell a lie.  They never cut a naughty caper; Cause why, Why 'cause they're made of paper!"

HOW TO MAKE THE PAPER TWINS;  Paste these good little Paper Twins on stiff paper, color them and cut them out.  They are to be jointed dolls, so the arms, legs and heads must be fastened to the body in such a way that they can be moved.  If the paper is not too thick, common dress snappers, such as mother uses to take the place of hooks and eyes, work nicely.  Or you can use small, double-pronged paper fasteners or just a bit of string with a tiny button or a drop of sealing wax or glue on each side to keep the knot from pulling through.  The dots show where to fasten the parts to the body.  Be sure to put both legs under Dilly Dear's skirts and Danny Dove's blouse.

A Cradle for Your Sleepy Doll

 November 10, 1923.  A CRADLE FOR YOUR SLEEPY DOLL.  How To Make The Cradle.  You can fold the body of the cradle from this pattern or you can use a box for that part.  If you fold it, be sure to use heavy paper so the cradle will not collapse and spill poor Dolly onto the floor.  The rockers must be very strong indeed, so use cardboard for them.  A piece of a box will do nicely.  Fasten the rockers to the cradle with glue or double pronged paper fasteners, or sew them with heavy thread, but do not use paste or dolly is apt to have a bad fall. - - -Somebody loves this work to do.  I hope that Somebody may be you!
