Ah-Sing's Little Sister as a Paper Doll from Betty Cut-Out series.

September 22 - 24, 1924.  Billy and Betty Cut-Out get to meet Ah-Sing's little sister.  She is a very pretty paper doll.  Little Sister has presents for Billy and Betty.  A kite for Billy and a paper lantern for Betty.  NOTE:  Little Sister's best dress is a smidgen too small in places so cut it out a bit larger than it actual is.

September 18 - 20, 1924.  AH-SING is a little boy from China.  He and his family have moved to America and AH-SING now goes to school with Billy and Betty Cut-Out.  Billy liked looking at all the items from China in AH-SING's home, such as the chopsticks, the fan, the parasol and the blue & white bowls.

April 21 - 23, 1924.  Here is Henry paper doll, Betty Cut-Out's little red-headed friend.  Henry has two costumes for the May Day celebrations.  He gets to be the flower court jester and in the dance of the flowers he gets to be a leaf.  This paper doll goes with the Thelma and Lillian paper dolls posted earlier.

April 29, May 2, May 3 & May 5, 1924.  LILLIAN paper doll takes her turn in the Betty Cut-Out series May Day Pageant.  She wears her rose costume in the dance of the flowers and LILLIAN was chosen as Queen of the May.  The last dress she wore to entertain friends at her home.

April 24, 25 & 26, 1924.  I hope you like THELMA paper doll as much as I do.  The Betty Cut-Out paper dolls were having a May Day Pageant and THELMA had a dance solo in her butterfly costume.  She then participated in the dance of the flowers wearing her black-eyed Susan costume.

BARRIE "The Bird Boy" Paper Doll from Betty Cut-Out Series.

May 1924.  Meet BARRIE.  His friends call him "bird boy" because of his love for birds.  One day he was helping to paint the barn when he found a nest with four baby wrens in the eaves of the barn. On another day Barrie and his friend, Billy Cut-Out, took a picnic basket and binoculars and went birding.  His other outfit shows him with a bowl of popcorn to feed to the birds in his yard.  I hope you like this BARRIE paper doll as he joins the others from the BETTY CUT-OUT Series.

May 1924.  Meet Virginia.  She lives next door to Betty Cut-Out.  Virginia is an avid gardener and she can hardly wait for Spring for she is ready to begin her garden and to start potting her plants.  Have fun with this paper doll!

July 15 - July 21, 1924.  A Gypsy Camp.  BETTY Cut-Out and her father went out on a walk one day and came across a Gypsy camp.  BETTY became friends with the Gypsy girl and boy.

February 25 - March 01, 1924.  This paper doll from the BETTY Cut-Out series is named FLORENCE.  She and BETTY Cut-Out had a sale to raise money to buy clothing for orphans.

CECILLE has three more outfits including her Queen of Hearts costume. I could not get the doll and all her clothes to fit on one page.

August 1924.  Here is the little orphan girl MARJORIE paper doll from BETTY Cut-Out series.  Betty and Billy Cut-Out helped Marjorie to escape from her wicked aunt and found her a new home with a loving family.  Marjorie appears in many of the Betty Cut-Out adventures.

July & August 1924.  This is the wicked Aunt paper doll from the BETTY CUT-OUT series.  The story-line is about a little orphan girl that has to go live with her aunt.  The aunt makes the little girl do all the work around the house, gives her rags to wear and very little food to eat.  Betty Cut-Out and her brother, Billy Cut-Out, help the little girl escape from her wicked aunt.

My eldest nephew and his lovely wife, Sarah, will be welcoming a son in December.  It has been over 25 years since the birth of the last baby in our family.  He will make my mom a great-grandmother and I will be his great-aunt.  We are sooooo excited!!
