Jean Gabin, The Man DIETRICH Loved
I went a few years ago to view Jean Renoir's "Grand Illusion", 75th Anniversary Restoration. A terrific film. The movie starred Jean Gabin and Erich von Stroheim. Jean Gabin was the actor that Marlene Dietrich was madly in love with. She risked life and limb to follow him during his military service in World War II.
