Errol Flynn and OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND star in THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE.

January 07, 1937.  ERROL FLYNN, the leader of "The Charge of the Light Brigade", is shown here wearing a uniform of the Crimean War.  Cut out and color picture.
January 08, 1937.  OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND, ERROL FLYNN and another actor (who is he?) appear in the second picture of this coloring contest.  The Charge of the Light Brigade starred Errol Flynn, OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND, Patric Knowles, Henry Stephenson, Nigel Bruce, Donald Crisp, David Niven, C. Henry Gordon, Robert Barrat, Spring Byington and J. Carrol Naish.  Thundering action based on Tennyson's poem, with immortal charge into the valley of death by British 27th Lancers cavalry.  Lavish production values accent romantic tale of Flynn and de Havilland at army post in India.  Max Steiner's first musical score for Warner Bros. is superb.  Balaklava Heights charge directed by action specialist B. Reeves Eason.  Directed by Michael Curtis.

"May I present . . . my latest discovery?" asks OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND

November 11, 1940.  Life Magazine, page 70.  A Rogers Bros. ad featuring the gorgeous OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND.  Must have been fun to be so gorgeous.
