A Few Revolutionary War Uniforms and Leaders at Yorktown
October 20, 1981. From "The Mini-Pages" found in many newspapers across the country. I had ancestors that fought for the Americans and I had ancestors that fought for the British. Very happy with the results of that war I must say! My man, George Washington, is one of my favorite historical figures. I am so thankful for the men, women and children of that time in this great land. The hardships that they had to endure for the freedom of their country. GOD bless them and GOD bless all the brave men and women and their families that help to keep our country safe and secure.

Fun With PIGGLY WIGGLY
1981. A Tribute to Piggly Wiggly by paper doll artist Emma Terry. This paper doll appeared in The Original Paper Doll Artists newsletter. Thanks mom.
October 27, 1960. I Like!!! I could not wait until next Halloween to put this mask on my blog. This has to be one of my favorite finds in the newspaper archives. A PIGGLY WIGGLY Halloween mask from a store ad in an Iowan newspaper. I will be donning my Piggly Wiggly mask and I hope you will too.
