A Cradle for Your Sleepy Doll
November 10, 1923. A CRADLE FOR YOUR SLEEPY DOLL. How To Make The Cradle. You can fold the body of the cradle from this pattern or you can use a box for that part. If you fold it, be sure to use heavy paper so the cradle will not collapse and spill poor Dolly onto the floor. The rockers must be very strong indeed, so use cardboard for them. A piece of a box will do nicely. Fasten the rockers to the cradle with glue or double pronged paper fasteners, or sew them with heavy thread, but do not use paste or dolly is apt to have a bad fall. - - -Somebody loves this work to do. I hope that Somebody may be you!
DOLLY'S CRADLE SONG. Rock-a-bye, hush-a-bye, dear Dolly mine, Close your sweet eyes and to Sleepy-land go. Mother will sing you a song, soft and low, Rock-a-bye, hush-a-bye, dear Dolly mine.
